In today's message for the first time in the Life of Jesus we see "The List" -- all 12 disciples (or apostles) given in a single list as a group. When we look a little closer at their stories we find out that the qualification of being chosen by God to serve Him in a great way has more to do from willingness than pedigree.
If you want to find out a little more about Jesus's 12 disciples (apostles), here are some links giving more detailed information. Just remember that the only things we know for certain are the few details we have from scripture. The rest is derived from tradition or non-Biblical accounts which may or may not be true.
